Oh hey, I’m Becs.

With over 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, I am the principal artist and founder of Brows By Becs.
A qualified educator and trainer, I began my vocational career as a hair and makeup artist primarily within the wedding industry, while teaching classes at a leading Auckland academy.

In 2014, I redirected my focus to advanced skin aesthetics, completing training in cosmetic tattoo and removal, full suite of laser hair, tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation.

Partnering these treatments with collagen induction therapy and general beauty services gave me a diverse toolkit, a deep understanding of skin health and a unique menu for addressing clients skin concerns.

My experiences through life have deeply shaped my career path, and over the years, during challenging times I begun to notice the way my own body reacted physically to stress and hormonal changes.

I began to notice my hair was thinning, or becoming patchy in places and despite my best efforts to adjust what I could control externally, the effect of what was going on inside left me feeling self conscious and wearing hats - a lot.

I know I am not alone in this, and am surrounded by amazing humans who while they may seem like they have their shit together, they too have noticed their own hair loss, receding hairlines or experienced pattern baldness and the loss of self esteem or confidence it brings.

I first looked into Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) as a hair loss treatment alternative when I first trained in cosmetic tattoo and this year I have retrained in this field.

I had the privilege of being mentored by Abbie from Headline Inc. The irony that we taught makeup together at the beginning of my career has not been lost on me. I believe whole heartedly that I have found a way to connect with people from all walks of life, with no barriers and help them rediscover their self esteem through my work.

I want to break down stigmas associated with cosmetic tattoo, and treatments designed to bring back confidence within oneself.

My ethos for my work centres around celebrating you, the individual and enhancing your natural beauty. I believe in creating a safe space for my clients, a warm environment where you can feel comfortable to discuss your insecurities and tailoring a treatment plan to help you restore the confidence you have lost when you look in the mirror.

I pride myself in my expertise, my complementary skill set and my passion for sharing education, finding solutions that aren’t quick fixes and my very loyal customer base - some of whom I have literally been helping for 15 years. I value your privacy and practice discretion at all times.

I warmly welcome you to my creative space, and if we haven’t already - I can’t wait to meet you.
