Each client is different. Becs has been a cosmetic tattoo artist for almost 10 years and offers a wealth of experience that other technicians do not.

This is why she tailors her pricing to reflect a maximum indicator.

Once she has a complete understanding of you, your lifestyle, your skin and general health, she will be able to tailor your treatment plan and apply the right discipline for maximum retention and overall satisfaction of her work.

All bookings require a 50% deposit, with balance paid at time of appointment.

These prices include your two required treatments.

General Treatment Information

Prior to each treatment, Becs will go through a complete consultation process with you, however please read the following information carefully as many of your questions may be answered here.

  • All lip cosmetic treatments involve implanting a pigment into the dermis layer of the skin. Depending on your lifestyle, general health and desired result, Becs will consult and advise best procedure for you. This ensures maximum retention and longevity for your treatment.

  • Each procedure is typically a two step treatment. In some cases, a third treatment may be required depending on retention of the pigment. It is imperative to correctly follow all pre and post treatment instructions.

  • If all pre and post treatment care is followed, you can expect your lip treatment to last between 2-5 years, and will gradually fade away.

  • Becs is an expert in this field, and as such uses tried and true products that are not only safe but are proven (by clients who have seen her for over 7 years) that the colour will never fade to unsightly blue or red.

  • We do take photos of our work. This includes pre treatment images. This is not purely for marketing purposes but ensures we follow correct documentation and client information filing. Becs has a large number of clients who prefer discretion with their treatments and we are absolutely ok with this.

  • As a qualified educator, and highly trained artist, Becs adheres to the strictest of health and hygiene policies. We are certified, and carry licenses that are current for bloodborne pathogen, and compliance for all procedures.

  • If you have EVER had a cold sore or have a history of herpes :

    As a necessary precaution, you MUST take an anti-viral medication for a total of 5 days (2 days prior to procedure, 1 day-of, and 2 days post-procedure). Examples of antiviral medications: Zovirax, Famvir or Valtrex. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this rule! This rule holds true for each and every time you have any lip tattoo. You will need to contact your physician in order to obtain your prescription strength anti-viral medication.

  • Do not work out 48 hours before procedure.

  • NO alcohol, caffeine or stimulants 24 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!).

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

  • No Accutane or other strong retinoids for 1 year before your session.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.

  • Avoid Fish Oil, Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements for a minimum of 48 hours prior to procedure.

  • Discontinue Retin-A, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) at least 6 weeks prior

  • Must wait a minimum 4 weeks after lip fillers. It is possible to have poor color retention in lips that have had injections within 6-12 weeks.

  • Wait six months after lip implant and get written clearance from your surgeon.

    Physician / medical clearance required:

  • Heart valves, stents, pacemakers

  • Organ transplants

  • If you are currently taking blood thinning medications or steroids

  • Joint replacements

  • Insulin dependent diabetics

  • Epilepsy

  • Lupus/ Autoimmune Disease
